General Information Choices Counseling and Consulting Choices Counseling and Consulting has been serving the Albany community since 1986. Under the clinical directorship of Arlene Istar Lev, L.C.S.W., C.A.S.A.C., Choices is also staffed by Jennifer Critchley L.C.S.W., who provides individual, couple, family and group counseling. The staff of Choices is trained in sexual and gender identity issues, relationship counseling, domestic violence and trauma treatment, addictions and recovery, depression and anxiety, and HIV counseling. We specialize in working with families, couples, and children, and provide adoption homestudies and counseling. Fees are on a sliding scale, and many insurances are accepted.
